Numa 1.1 — the notch
update · 23 November 2025 · numa
Until now Numa was a window you opened. This release gives it a body it can keep: the notch — a small, frameless presence pinned to the edge of your screen, there whether or not you are looking at it. It is where Numa shows what it is doing, holds the thread of a long task, and, when nothing is happening, simply breathes.
- —The notch — always-on, floating, present across every space.
- —Live step labels, so you can see what Numa is doing without opening anything.
- —A resting state that breathes rather than blinks.
- —Music and time at a glance, tucked away until you hover.
It is a small thing on screen and a large one in feel. A program you summon and a program that is simply there are not the same kind of thing.
